Truthiness is a Real Word
I ran across the word Truthiness on a website and questioned whether it was a real word. I googled it rather than browse my dictionary. Wikipedia has an entry for “truthiness” and explains its origin. In fact, it was named word of the year for 2005 by the American Dialect Society and for 2006 by Merriam-Webster.
