I haven’t been consistent in posting due to taking Search Engine Marketing Certification programs from Marketing Experiments. I’ve completed the first certification - Fundamentals in Online Testing - and am about half way through the Search Engine Management certification.

Here is my shiny new proof of certification for Fundamentals of Online Testing.

There is no overseeing agency that certifies SEO, SEM or PPC so you may wonder why I spent the time and money to become certified. It boils down to trust, knowledge and credibility.

I was a paid member of the Marketing Experiments website several years ago when they offered a monthly subscription based service. Over the years I’ve religiously attended their online conference calls that have addressed a multitude of topics involving Internet / Search Marketing, conversion, testing, etc. and took their advice. They earned my trust by consistently delivering quality, research based programs that addressed best practices that worked.

Marketing Experiments gets testing (both online testing and testing skills that matter )! They also know how rapidly the industry changes and require recertification every 18 months.
